HOW AND WHEN TO PAY
- Students receiving financial aid should NOT pay your fees. Your fees will be paid when your aid is distributed shortly before the session begins.
- There are no out-of-state fees charged to non-residents of California during Summer Session.
-
If paying by credit or debit card on the Summer Session website, you may ONLY pay for summer application fee, campus fees, and course fees (listed below). All other fees (library charges, broken glassware, lost keys, etc.) should be paid directly to UCSC's Cashiers Office. The Cashiers Office does not accept credit cards.
Calculating Your Fees
Your Summer fees depend upon the number of credits you take. (See fee chart below.) Below the fee chart is a link to an automatic fee calculator. "Campus Fees" are required of each registered student to cover Metro Bus and shuttle operation, recreation facilities, library access, computer lab access, etc. Note that some courses carry a materials fee in addition to the unit fee.
