WHO CAN ATTEND & HOW TO ENROLL
NOTE: If you enroll in any UCSC Summer Sessions course(s) and later drop all classes, you will be charged a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION FEE. See Refund Policy. You will NOT be charged the $50 cancellation fee as long as you remain enrolled in at least one class.

Eligibility
Summer Session has an open enrollment policy, meaning any person over 18 years of age may attend, unless barred from enrollment at UCSC for disciplinary or financial reason (e.g., delinquent loan payments). UCSC students barred for academic reasons may attend to improve your standing. Attendance in Summer Session does not reduce the number of quarters a student may attend UCSC within the four-year, twelve-quarter limit.

High School Students
High school students who will be Juniors or Seniors in fall 2012 may enroll in introductory, lower-division Summer Session courses with the submission of the regular online application and a special verification form (requiring the high school seal). This form also requires the high school administration to list the cumulative GPA, and affirm completion of the sophomore or junior year. Forms are available to download here beginning March 26.

International Students (needing Visas)

Please see the information under Application.
